Functional and easy solutions that use local, low cost, and minimal environmental impact materials. There are many buildings all over the world and from different periods, made with straw bales, with different shapes and functions. More recently, they were also built in large sizes, such as multi-storey hotels. Today with the new techniques there could be a high interest for this type of buildings: straw is available at low costs, clay is there and wood too, and all of these materials are “zero miles”. We have gained practical knowledge in this field, and are convinced that countless things can be done with straw in a practical, safe and ecological way, and we would like to spread these techniques by organizing conventions, fairs, workshops and more, and make new and useful buildings.
